Each nature gives a +10% / −10% spread on two stats. Picking the right one squeezes 10–20% extra performance from any spirit.

How Natures Work
Every spirit has a nature that gives ±10% to two of its stats:
- Beneficial nature: +10% to one stat
- Detrimental nature: −10% to another
- Neutral nature: no effect
Recommended Natures by Role
Physical Attackers
- Adamant (+ATK / −SP.ATK) — the go-to physical-attacker nature
- Jolly (+SPD / −SP.ATK) — when you need to outspeed the enemy
Special Attackers
- Modest (+SP.ATK / −ATK) — the standard special-attacker nature
- Timid (+SPD / −ATK) — when you need to move first
Tanks / Support
- Bold (+DEF / −ATK) — physical wall
- Impish (+DEF / −SP.ATK) — physical wall, alternate spread
- Calm (+SP.DEF / −ATK) — special wall
How to Pick the Right Nature
- Look at your spirit's base stats (ATK vs SP.ATK).
- ATK > SP.ATK → go Adamant or Jolly.
- SP.ATK > ATK → go Modest or Timid.
- High DEF / SP.DEF → go a defensive nature.
